Who Are We?
As Moda Female Dormitory, we are an institution affiliated with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, adhering to Atatürk’s principles and reforms, and embracing a modern management approach.
We have no affiliation with any organization, association, foundation, or religious community.
Our Services
Accommodation
Our dormitory consists of seven floors, four of which are dedicated to student rooms. Rooms are available for 1, 2, and 4 persons.
Meals
We enhance our students’ quality of life with meals prepared daily by our own chefs.
Dining Hall
Breakfast and dinner are prepared daily by our chefs on weekdays. Our menus are crafted with the guidance of a dietitian. We take care to use seasonal and fresh vegetables—summer vegetables for summer menus and winter vegetables for winter menus. Menus are designed with attention to the nutritional value of meals, ensuring a balanced distribution of protein, carbohydrates, and vegetables while considering the calorie intake required per meal for students.
Cafe
The Moda Female Dormitory Cafe is open on weekdays and weekends. Students can order from the cafe menu, and meals are prepared on demand by our chefs. The cafe menu includes world cuisine dishes (köfte, pizza, pasta, fajita, alfredo, mantı, hamburger, etc.), various sandwiches, salads, pastries, börek, poğaça, omelets, toasts, desserts (cheesecake, tiramisu, cakes, brownies, etc.), and hot & cold beverages.
Security
The safety of our students is ensured through a personalized card entry system, 24/7 camera surveillance, and private security personnel.
Cleaning
Cleaning is performed by floor staff. Rooms are cleaned every other day, common areas (such as study rooms and TV rooms) are cleaned daily, and bathrooms are cleaned twice a day.
Fitness Room
Our fitness room supports activities such as sports, yoga, meditation, pilates, and dance. Group classes are also available.
Laundry
Laundry services are conducted by the students themselves with staff assistance.
Common Areas
Our dormitory offers common areas for studying, socializing, or spending time outside of rooms, including a study room, TV room, cafe, fitness room, front garden, back garden, and lobby.
Other Amenities
Earthquake resistance certification, fully equipped fire safety system, unlimited wireless internet, central heating system, elevator, social activities, and more.
Location
Moda Female Dormitory is located in the Moda neighborhood of Istanbul’s Kadıköy district. Moda is known as one of Istanbul’s most refined neighborhoods. In recent years, its popularity among young people has grown, and life in the area is vibrant. The neighborhood is rich in cafes, restaurants, art galleries, cinemas, theaters, tramway streets, shops, fitness centers, and gaming and hobby centers. Moda Coast, with its parks, green spaces, tea gardens, walking and cycling paths, offers students opportunities to enjoy their social time.
Transportation
Moda Female Dormitory’s location is within walking distance of all public transportation options.
We are a 3-minute walk to the tram, 12 minutes to the ferry, 12 minutes to the metro, 10 minutes to the metrobus, and 4 minutes to the bus.
