Gümüşsu Foundation

Founded in 1994 with the donation of land owned by the Ceylan and Suyunu families and the construction of Gümüşsu Mosque on it, the foundation takes its name from the town of Gümüşsu in the Çivril district of Denizli, the birthplace of its founders.

Although a small family foundation, Gümüşsu Foundation has always aimed for great contributions in serving humanity and has completed 8 public benefit projects such as schools and health centers as foundation works. The foundation continues its efforts in this direction.

Gümüşsu Girls' Dormitory

The Gümüşsu Foundation's Educational Dormitory and Social Facilities started operations on October 20, 2007.

Established by the Gümüşsu Foundation Board to support youth education and dormitory needs, the institution operates as an economic enterprise with one of its main goals being the education of young people. The dormitory was opened to provide this service and continues to operate toward this purpose.

Our institution, which primarily focuses on education, approaches this field with great idealism.

Special Services We Offer

Rooms
The dormitory provides 4-person rooms for accommodation.
Rooms are furnished with practical and comfortable furniture to ensure students' well-being.
Students are assigned to rooms based on their departments and classes.
Requests submitted to the dormitory manager are also considered during placement.

Laundry
Each student can wash their clothes for free.
Additionally, clothes can be dried and ironed free of charge.

Dormitory Facilities
The dormitory uses wooden and modern furniture of quality and style determined by the institution.
All rooms have the same layout: bunk beds, wardrobes for clothes and books, desks, and chairs.
The dining hall has a refrigerator and wooden cabinets for students only.
Laundry machines and irons are available free of charge for students.

Library
Our library contains various books to support students’ studies and personal development.
Books are available for research and leisure reading.

24/7 Security
Your children’s safety is in trusted hands.
Cameras at multiple points monitor students’ entry, exit, and security 24/7.
Night staff are available to respond to any emergencies, including allergies or illnesses.

Study Areas
Quiet study spaces are available in addition to the desks in rooms, allowing students to study comfortably.
Students can collaborate with classmates in the same courses for shared learning and support.

Breakfast and Dinner
Meals are prepared in-house using materials from HACCP, ISO 9001:2000, and TSE certified suppliers.
Breakfast varies daily and is offered as a weekend buffet.
The meal menu is determined daily by the institution’s chef, management, student representative, and affiliated doctor, considering the daily calorie needs.
Meals are prepared fresh in four varieties daily, and tea is served after meals.
Students may also use the dining hall for snacks as needed.

Lounge Areas
Each floor has lounges where students can relax and socialize.

Unlimited Internet
ADSL connection has been in place since the dormitory’s inception.
Students benefit from fast, uninterrupted internet.
In addition to dormitory computers, students with laptops can access Wi-Fi on their floors.

Transportation
The dormitory is a 2-minute walk from the Üsküdar-Yamanevler Metro.
Direct access is available via:

• Lines 14R and 14Y to Marmara University Haydarpaşa and Theology Faculty Campus
• Lines 15ÇK, 15SK, 15YK to Marmara University Göztepe Campus
• Lines 14R, 14Y, and 11ST to Şehir University Campus

Alemdağ Street, 2 minutes away, provides continuous transport to Üsküdar, Kadıköy, and Ümraniye.
Morning shuttles to Haydarpaşa and Göztepe campuses are available.
