Hanımağa Girls’ Dormitory in Istanbul is managed according to the regulations of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (discipline rules, entry-exit times). With understanding management and experienced staff, our goal is to provide the best service to our students.
It has no affiliation with any political institution, foundation, community, or association. With a modern and democratic management approach, and with the awareness that success is directly linked to working conditions, we aim to share the happiness of providing our students with a comfortable, peaceful, warm, and safe environment. Hanımağa Higher Education Girls’ Dormitory started in 2006 with a hospital project that would have been the first in Turkey. Due to my son’s illness that left him in a vegetative state, we intended to serve him and patients in similar conditions. However, since there was no law for such an institution, we could not obtain a license for the hospital we prepared with the latest systems.
Believing that our building, which was meant for young patients, should still provide service, we opened our first branch, Sinan Yaşam Girls’ Dormitory, in memory of my son. Later, upon universities’ demand, we opened our second branch. Due to urban transformation projects, we closed our old dormitory buildings that had served for many years. In 2015, in Bostancı, one of Istanbul’s most prestigious and central districts, we moved to a brand-new building under the name of Hanımağa Higher Education Girls’ Dormitory, and we are proud of our new facility.

With years of experience and understanding staff, our goal is to provide the best service to our students. Our dormitory has no ties with political views, communities, or foundations. We respect all our students’ opinions and appearances. In a city like Istanbul, easy transportation is a very important factor. Our dormitory is five minutes from the Bostancı E-5 highway, with easy access to many universities on both the European and Anatolian sides, and close to all kinds of social and cultural activity centers. We offer our students a modern, safe, peaceful, and comfortable higher education life.
